However, she faces stiff competition from other singers, including her rival Tiffany (McKaley Miller), a spoiled and snooty teenager who thinks she is the next pop star. Bonnie also has to deal with her ex-husband (Brett Gentile), who wants to get back together with her, and her boss (Mark Christopher Lawrence), who is not supportive of her singing aspirations. Along the way, Bonnie gets help and encouragement from her family and friends, such as her sister (Shari Rigby), her best friend (Heather Land), and her mentor (Michael W.
